  • Reservations and Walk in Policy Seating Options
    Reservations are required. Walk-in tables are given out on a first-come, first-served basis. The host will give an estimated availability time to all of our walk-in guests.
  • Dress Code
    Covid-19 guidelines require all guests to wear a mask. The Poseidon Restaurant is a "beach casual" restaurant. The range includes casual daywear, casual eveningwear, and tasteful outfits. Shoes & shirts are required.
  • Handicap Access
    Yes the Poseidon Restaurant is setup to provide easy access with handicap ramps, and a gracious helpful staff to support you.
  • Parking – Is parking available nearby or do you have Valet?
    There is city metered parking available nearby. There is limit valet parking available, and it is operated by: Sunset Parking Services at 877-900-7275.
  • Ocean View Tables - How can I be sure to get an ocean view table?
    The good news is, every table at the Poseidon Restaurant has some ocean view, including our inside seating. Patio seating is not guaranteed for reservations. You can choose inside or outside dining, and the host will give an estimated availability time for your preference.
  • Corkage Fee
    Yes, our corkage fee is $25/bottle, limit 2 bottles per reservation.

  • Pet Policy – Is the Poseidon Del Mar pet friendly?
    Only Certified Service Animals are allowed in the restaurant and on the patio. Emotional Support Animals, Comfort Animals, and Therapy Dogs are not considered Certified Service Animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA. Other species of animals, whether wild or domestic, trained or untrained, are not considered service animals either: therefor not allowed in the premises
  • Special Diets - Does the Poseidon offer special menu items?
    Yes the Poseidon Restaurant will help with your special request. Speak to your server before ordering to determine what options are available at the time of your visit.
  • Special Occasions -Do you offer anything for special occasions?
    We love to help you celebrate your special occasion. Let your server know you are celebrating and they can facilitate something special for you.
